Picture Segment Description
COLD OPEN Big Bird and Telly announce that today we’ll see the letters “T” (for treasure) and “B” (for beetles), and the number 8 (for 8 balls of fur). They also announce that they’ll be playing hide-and-seek, with Big Bird hiding (and giving out clues to where he is).

SCENE 1 Telly is about to count until Gordon stops by to talk. He’s going to the Fix-It Shop so Maria can repair his broken telephone. Telly comes up with a funny rhyme for him before he leaves, and a a girl named Caitlin arrives to give Telly his first clue in poem form. Telly must find the word that rhymes: “It’s too big for a pot or pan. / For your next clue, go to Oscar's _____.”

SCENE 1 cont’d Telly rushes over to Oscar's can, where he runs into Luis, who’s also going to the Fix-It Shop. A girl named Zelda pops out of Oscar’s can, where she delivers Telly’s second clue: “One, two, three, four / If you want your next clue, go to Hooper's _____.”

SCENE 1 cont'd Telly goes to Hooper's Store, where Mr. Handford is delivering coffee to Maria (something that Mr. Handford makes very clear to Telly). Marcus gives Telly another clue: “You’re getting close, and soon I’ll see ya. / You’ll find me with someone you know named _____.” Nearby at the Fix-It Shop, an Anything Muppet deliverywoman is looking for Maria, and Telly… runs off to find his Aunt Leah.
SCENE 1 cont'd Meanwhile, Big Bird (hidden behind the counter in the Fix-It Shop) wonders where Telly’s going.
