Guest | James Coco |
Production | May 2-5, 1978 |
Releases | Season 3 |
|
Although he initially loves the show, James talks Kermit into adding some "razzle-dazzle," particularly to "dull concepts" like the Swedish Chef. After messing up several acts with his concepts, including Spanish dancers with the Chef, and chorus girls in Veterinarian's Hospital, James decides to downsize for his closing number... to the point that he's the big man on stage!
Songs/Sketches
- In an underwater number, Kermit and Robin sing "Octopus' Garden."
- James, Fozzie, Beauregard and the ghost of Chester Pugh sing "Danny Boy."
- Rowlf at the piano: "Eight Little Notes."
- UK Spot: Kermit and Robin bookend an abstract dance of snakes to "In a Persian Market".
- The Swedish Chef makes a banana split.
- Wayne sings "Catch a Falling Star" but is interrupted by Scooter.
- Veterinarian's Hospital: Spanish Dancer
- James sings "Short People" with a backup of tiny Muppets, but he's embarrassed when the 8-foot Thog calls him "Shorty."
