SCENE 1 | Big Bird is at the playground to introduce the letter W, one of the letters of the day. He has two friends that he brings in to assist him: the first is "a fish called Wanda"... Wanda Cousteau to be precise. Next, Wolfgang the Seal enters, as his name begins with the same letter. However, Big Bird has forgotten that Wolfgang loves eating fish, and soon Wanda has to "boldly run away like no fish has run before" with Wolfgang close behind. |

Film | A girl goes to school somewhere in Africa. We see the girl getting ready to go to school, as she washes herself and brushes her teeth, puts on her clothes, brushes her hair, and takes her lunch, all with some help from her mother. We see her walking past her neighbors and watching her classmates play outside as she arrives at school. The bell rings, and the girl enters the school, where the teacher is passing out chalk to her students. We see the teacher teaching the students the English words: "a boy," "a girl," "a man," "a woman," which she has written on the board, along with a drawing for each word. The students repeat the words, then write them down on their individual chalkboards as the girl remarks, "We are learning to read and write." The students then jump up and down, as the teacher looks on, smiling. Next, we see the students jumping outside excitedly, now that school has finished. (First: Episode 2658) |

She climbs in and Big Bird relays his plan in telling Wolfgang that she might have went to Albuquerque. Unfortunately, when Wolfgang arrives he is able to follow her scent and discovers where she is. He gets into the can just as Wanda escapes through the back door while Oscar tries holding Wolfgang back. |

Wolfgang curiously observes Wanda and can't tell it's her; Big Bird says he might want to search in Timbuktu to throw him off. Just after the seal leaves, the broccoli costume and perfume catch the eye and nose of the vegetarian Chicago the Lion, who now believes Wanda is his favorite food! He begins hunting her down when Big Bird blurts out that it's really Wanda, which sends Wolfgang back to chasing her. |

SCENE 7 | Gina continues holding Wolfgang when Wanda confronts him. She warns the seal that if he continues, her friend "Big Fish" won't like it. A Jaws-like theme plays as Big Fish arrives (played by Big Bird dressed up in a makeshift fish costume). Wolfgang is terrified and agrees to stop going after Wanda before running away in fear. Big Bird and Gina announce the sponsors as Wolfgang makes a couple more attempts to get at Wanda, scattering whenever "Big Fish" catches him. |
