SCENE 1 Gina is too sick to come into work at Hooper's Store today, so Mr. Handford has Savion fill in. Gina tries to assure she's fine, but Mr. Handford and Savion assure her they've got the store covered. Big Bird comes in for his usual breakfast, but is upset that Gina isn't making it (she always makes his breakfast). Savion instead prepares him his surprise breakfast. He hands Big Bird the ingredients as he adds them to the bowl. Big Bird doesn't get the surprise; he was told the ingredients ahead of time. The surprise is that Big Bird made it himself! Gina calls in again and is saddened to hear things are going well without her.
