COLD OPEN Maria welcomes the viewer when Telly rushes in with exciting news - today is the Grand High Triangle Lover's birthday, and he's having a huge party with guests coming in from all over the world (and his mommy). The GHTL and Norman arrive with news for Telly: he'll be giving a speech at the party's beginning ("Welcome, Triangle Lovers!"). Telly is nervous, but Maria encourages him to practice.
SCENE 1 Telly practices his speech and gets more confident, until Oscar completely rattles his nerves by reminding him off the hundreds of people he'll be speaking before.
Cartoon A boy narrates a poem about how he met Eleanor, the monster under his bed.

After Savion has him demonstrate how good he is at pretending to be different animals, Telly gives it a try and invents a new persona, delivering his birthday speech with such gusto that an imaginary crowd applauds and throws flowers. With renewed confidence, Telly goes off to the party. The crowd cheers and throws flowers at Savion for his pretending as a teacher.
