Picture Segment Description
SCENE 1 Big Bird welcomes the viewer and announces his Grandpa Bird will be arriving soon for a visit. He hears a knock on his door, but it is Gordon instead. Big Bird receives a call from Grandpa Bird, who won't be able to make it due to illness. Gordon offers to cheer him up and Big Bird gets an idea - Gordon can pretend to be Grandpa Bird and looks around for a beak he can wear.

Muppets Ernie is in a counting mood, and decides to count all of the cookies in a box of them. Cookie Monster overhears this and asks if he can have all of the cookies after they are counted, and Ernie agrees. But after opening the box, Ernie finds that there are 0 cookies in it. Ernie has another box, but it also has 0 in it. Ernie then remembers that he put all of the cookies into a cookie jar, and starts to count, but Cookie Monster impatiently eats all of the cookies before Ernie can finish counting.

Gordon sits in Grandpa Bird's reading chair and Big Bird sits in his usual spot - on his lap.
