Telly vows to make sure nothing bad happens to the car, and tests it multiple times to make sure it works. However, the car suddenly stops working, and Telly panics. | |

While she counts, Big Bird almost decides to hide behind the Fix-it Shop bench, where Telly is hiding ... but then he realizes that his feathers (or another body part) will still be visible if he hides there, so he decides to hide in the park. Telly breathes a sigh of relief, and thinks of another way of avoiding confrontation with Big Bird. | |

SCENE 6 | Telly, now out of his disguise, has decided to tell Big Bird the truth about the toy car he accidentally broke. Big Bird arrives with Luis, and is disappointed when he finds out his toy car is broken. Luis inspects it, and reveals that it's not really broken - it just needs new batteries. He puts some new ones in, and the car works again! Telly confesses to Big Bird that he was hiding from him, and they hug and make up. Luis announces the sponsors. |
