	SCENE 1	Telly comes across Maria and Gabi, learning that Gabi is almost finished writing some postcards to her relatives in New Mexico and Puerto Rico. The postcards have already been addressed, but need postage stamps. Telly observes how Gabi wets one side of the stamp with a damp sponge and sticks it on the corner of one postcard. Gabi asks Telly if he would like to try it on the other, and though he nervously declines at first, Maria helps him and he successfully places a stamp on Gabi's other postcard. Telly becomes eager to put stamps on all kinds of mail and declares himself, "Telly Monster, Stamp Putter-Onner!"

	SCENE 2	In the yard, Gabi and Maria find Telly perfecting his technique of wetting and putting on postage stamps, with the idea that everyone on Sesame Street will come to him so he can put postage stamps on their mail. He imagines putting stamps on letters and packages from Bob, Gordon, Gina, and other people formed in a long line. Maria doubts that Telly's plan is going to work the way he expects it to, but Telly realizes that he doesn't have a sign to advertise his one-monster business and rushes off.

	SCENE 3	Telly now has a sign that reads "Postage Stamps Put On Here," but Maria and Gabi still don't think Telly's business will be as great as he thinks. Telly agrees - he thinks it'll be even bigger and envisions putting stamps on mail from people all over the world, imagining himself assisting customers from Zaire and Germany. Back in reality, an Anything Muppet woman (Lisa Buckley) comes by and reads Telly's sign. However, she states that she doesn't need help putting postage stamps on (she does it herself) and was more interested in reading his sign. Telly begins to mope, but Gabi has an idea.

	SCENE 4	Gabi comes back with a bunch of postage stamps and blank postcards, and she and Maria suggest that Telly can write them and put postage stamps on every one he writes. Telly decides to give it a try, first writing to his mom. He becomes enthralled and proceeds to write postcards to his Uncle Norman and Aunt Gladys.
