SCENE 1 | Telly, Maria and Gabi welcome the viewer to Sesame Street. Gabi is writing postcards to her grandparents in New Mexico, and her abuela in Puerto Rico. The postcards already have the addresses on them, but need postage stamps. Telly observes how Gabi wets one side of the stamp with a sponge, and sticks it on the corner of her postcard. Gabi asks Telly if he would like to try, and though he nervously declines at first, with help from Maria, he successfully places a stamp on one of Gabi's postcards. Telly becomes eager to put stamps on everything and declares himself, "Telly Monster, Stamp Putter-Onner!" | |
