SCENE 2 As Stinky bemoans his aching roots, Gabi suggests they get him a bigger flower pot. He doesn’t want another one, though, because Maria and Luis gave him this one and he likes it. He starts singing a song about how he and his flowerpot were made for each other. Gabi and Zoe join in with verses about their sneakers and crib, respectively, and how they outgrew them but were glad they knew them.

SCENE 3 Zoe and Gabi bring Stinky to Ruthie’s shop to look at bigger pots. Of each one he sees, he says it’s nice, but he wouldn’t want to live in it, but if everybody else likes it... Ruthie tells him that HIS opinion is important, because he is the one who will have to live in it. He chooses one that is much too big for him. The others tell him so, but it’s the one he likes.

SCENE 3 cont'd Stinky, Ruthie, Gabi, and Zoe comment on the previous cartoon. Stinky likes the sound of the letter W, but he didn’t see any water buffalo. Ruthie tells him it’s because his pot is too big—he can’t see over the top. He still thinks his new pot is fine.

SCENE 3 cont'd Stinky didn’t see the Ws in the last sketch either, which is too bad, since they had polka-dots on them. Ruthie insists he try another pot—and he can see out of it! He asks if he will be able to do everything in this pot that he did in his old pot, like saying the alphabet. They try it, and sure enough, he can do it in the new pot. But Stinky has another problem, which he doesn’t want to burden them with.

SCENE 4 Stinky’s problem is that he doesn’t want to say goodbye to his old flowerpot. Ruthie tells him that he can come visit it any time he wants. Zoe and Gabi take Stinky back to The Furry Arms, and Ruthie announces the sponsors as Stinky calls back to his old pot, telling it he misses it and he hopes it will write.
