	SCENE 1	Baby Bear is furious with Goldilocks; he found his wee-little chair smashed to bits, his porridge bowl empty, and his bed slept in. He believes she did it all, citing past examples of her recklessness. She and Big Bird protest that she's innocent but Baby Bear does not want to hear it, refusing to be friends with her and threatening to tell everyone what she did so she won't have any friends on Sesame Street. Papa Bear shows up with the chair in question, and he reveals that he was responsible for the deeds Goldilocks was blamed for due to a series of mishaps. Goldilocks runs off crying, leaving Baby Bear racked with guilt, and Papa Bear advises him to make her happy again. Big Bird volunteers to help.

	SCENE 2	Baby Bear tries to apologize to Goldilocks, but she turns away, huffing. Big Bird tells Baby Bear that whenever he feels sad or angry, he and Snuffy sing "The Alphabet Song." They try cheering her up by singing, but it doesn't work and Goldilocks runs off crying.
	SCENE 2 cont'd	Luis witnesses Goldilocks running off and learns what's happened. Since he's good at fixing things (he's currently working on Baby Bear's chair), Big Bird asks how he'd fix a broken heart. He tells them whenever Maria is upset, he gets her some flowers.

"This has been one of the most awful days of my life," she tells him, causing a dumbfounded Baby Bear to faint.

He allows her to sit in his chair, which makes her feel better. Baby Bear then reluctantly goes to get her a bowl of porridge (but passes on her request for milk, toast, a newspaper, and her slippers) as Big Bird and Luis announce the sponsors and sign off.
