His subjects gather in the throne room to show off their triangles, when Brutus (Luis) arrives with what he believes is a triangle, but turns out to be a number 2. "A 2, Brutus?!" the emperor shouts. He sets Brutus straight as to what a triangle looks like and tears his own in half so Brutus can properly join the festivities. | |
SCENE 3 cont'd | "That is the greatest story ever told," says Telly, who realizes they need to keep moving if they want to accomplish everything on their list. | |
Cartoon | A young bespectacled man with an accordion asks how much it costs to cross the bridge. The Bridgekeeper says admission is free, but requires that the young man show him three triangles. Two of them are found in the bridgework, and the man uses the bridgekeeper's staff to draw a third triangle in the dirt. Although the bridgekeeper has his order filled, he asks the man to play a tune on his accordion. This additional request takes the young man by surprise, but he is told to do so for the opportunity to cross the bridge. (First: Episode 1572) | |
