COLD OPEN | An announcer (Martin P. Robinson) declares, "And here she is, the one you've all been waiting for... Sally Messy Yuckyael!" Oscar and Grundgetta are guests on Sally's trashy talk show, where today's topic is displayed onscreen: "Grouches who love too much!" |

SCENE 1 | Sally announces that today's guests are two Grouches, one of whom fell in love with the other. Oscar admits that it was him and begins to tell the story of how it happened, seen in a flashback. This morning he and Grundgetta were having their usual morning argument. "Suddenly, I started hearing this yucky, sweet violin music," Oscar continues. "And then my heart was going pitty-pat, pitty-pat... I couldn't even nyah-nyah-nyah-nyah-nyeahhh..." Grundgetta couldn't stand Oscar looking at her with "gaga eyes," but the worst part is when Oscar suddenly blurts out, "Grundgetta, I... I love you!" |

Back in the present, the Grouch audience is in shock at this story. Oscar and Grundgetta argue over who suffered more from it, while Sally tells the viewers to stay tuned. |

She can't believe Oscar's singing her a love song, and refuses to meet Oscar in the moonlight in the junkyard. Oscar decides to show her how much he loves her right at his trash can... and kisses Grundgetta! "I couldn't help it - love made me do it!" declares Oscar. |

SCENE 3 | On the next part of Sally Messy Yuckyael, Grundgetta reveals how she managed to make Oscar stop loving her: she invited him to a romantic dinner at a nice little bistro; again, the idea sickens all the Grouches. As seen in a flashback, a trio of violin-playing penguins perform as they dine, when Grundgetta leans over and kisses Oscar, which snaps him back to his old self and makes him angry. Everyone back on Sally is relieved that the nightmare is now over, though Sally presses if Oscar will fall in love again. "I'm just taking it one day at a time," Oscar admits. Grundgetta warns that she'll kiss him if he ever falls in love with her again, and the former lovebirds start arguing once more as Sally announces another break. |

Grundgetta returns to normal and gets angry at Oscar for kissing her. They continue arguing as usual while Sally announces the sponsors and signs off. |
