SCENE 1 Today is Baby Bear's birthday and Telly accompanies him as he hands out invitations to his party, which will be held in the park later. Telly eagerly waits to receive one, but must wait as Baby Bear gives Rosita and Big Bird ones first. Telly notices that Baby Bear still has one invitation left, which is intended for Goldilocks...or so he says. He debates whether or not to invite her, given their tense history, but doesn't want to make her feel left out.

SCENE 2 Telly finds Baby Bear hiding by Big Bird's doors. Baby Bear asks Telly to act out how he thinks Goldilocks might feel if she does or doesn't get an invitation. If he leaves her out, she could feel sad. But if she's included, she'll be happy, but he might become angry if she wrecks something as usual. Baby Bear sees he's in a "lose-lose" situation, when he realizes a loophole: Goldilocks doesn't even know about his birthday or the party, which means he won't have to even talk about it.
