Baby Bear and Goldilocks have porridge together at Hooper's Store, when a delivery from "Fairytale Express" arrives. They both hope the package is for them, but it turns out to be for Mr. Handford. The delivery man also happens to have a package for Baby Bear, who delightfully postpones opening the box so he can read his name on the label over and over.
"Write Your Name" (First: Episode 3274)
Goldilocks eagerly waits for Baby Bear to stop reading and open the box. They both open it together and find a shiny, new toy truck inside. Mr. Handford discovers an envelope inside and Baby Bear starts reading his name over and over again.
Baby Bear finally opens the envelope, containing a card. It reveals the truck is a special gift from Nana and Grandpapa Bear, just to show him they love him. Goldilocks wants to play with it, but Baby Bear thinks it's too nice to be played with and suggests they just admire it for awhile.
An opera house is full when an operatic tenor sings, but it becomes empty when his partner (of lesser musical talent) attempts to sing. On their way home, the tenor and his partner become stuck on the freeway, where the lanes are full - but all it takes to make them empty is some bad singing. Artist: Gene Barretta
Baby Bear finally relents to play with the truck, but won't ruin it by filling it with dirt or rocks. Instead, Mr. Handford provides them with some peanuts, which keep the truck in tact as they empty and fill it. Goldilocks wants a turn, but Baby Bear won't allow it based on their history. Goldilocks walks out of the store feeling sad.
Baby Bear finds playing by himself isn't much fun and decides to reconcile with Goldilocks. He asks Mr. Handford to place the truck back in the box.
Goldilocks re-enters Hooper's, where Mr. Handford shows her a package that was "delivered" for her. They open it up and find the truck inside, along with a card from Baby Bear, apologizing for his behavior and asking to play together. Goldilocks forgives him and they play with the truck, as Mr. Handford announces the sponsors.
Coming Soon on Sesame Street: "Customer Elmo" brings his toaster to the Fix-It Shop.
