SCENE 1 | Oscar brings his toaster to the Fix-It Shop for repair (it won't burn his toast), but Maria has stepped out, leaving Gabi to watch the store. Oscar doesn't mind waiting (he prefers it) when two characters announce their presence - The Prince and the Pig. They claim to be great characters from the greatest story ever told... only it hasn't been written yet. They ask whom they call "Mr. Green Sloppy Guy" to write their story, but Oscar naturally declines. Gabi, despite being pressed for time, decides to help and gets a pad and pen. But, how will their story go? The prince and pig do like the beginning, though: "Once upon a time..." |
