SCENE 1 | Big Bird and Snuffy show Maria the illustrated yet unfinished poem they've been coming up with about the letter D:
"... Dots!" Big Bird then states, reminded thanks to the green dots on his legs. He and the others become shocked when they see green dots all over his feet and legs - there's even one on his tail! Big Bird isn't sure what's wrong with him, so Maria decides to call Dr. Matthews to see what the issue is. |

SCENE 2 | Dr. Matthews (Julie Hagerty) arrives and inspects Big Bird, whose spots have spread to his wings and beak and have become itchy. She diagnoses him with "Birdy Pox," something that happens to most big yellow birds his age. She recommends staying in his nest and resting, but he's allowed to have guests (as long as they're not six-year-old big yellow birds). She also assures him his Birdy Pox will disappear by bedtime and soothes his dots with an ointment. |
