Picture Segment Description

SCENE 1 Carlo welcomes the viewer to Sesame Street, and Big Bird passes by, on his way to watch "Alphaboy." Carlo follows him out of curiosity into the arbor, where a TV is set up. The show comes on, and Carlo notices that Big Bird has suddenly disappeared. He reappears, wearing a cape, proclaiming that today he's pretending to be Alphabird! "I'll be just like Alphaboy, but with feathers!"
Song "I'm a Little Airplane," with film of kids pretending to be airplanes.

Muppets Telly hosts "Here and There" from the library, where it's quiet. His co-host, Debra Starr, is at the airport, where it's loud. The loud noises of the airport eventually make it hard for Telly to hear Debra, so he has to talk louder into the microphone for Debra to hear him, which results in his expulsion.

The customer wants to buy a newspaper, but Grover won't stop reading the paper that the customer wants to buy. Grover reads about construction of a new building, a parade, and an expected rain shower, all of which occur as Grover reads.

SCENE 5 Alphabird arrives at the park, and finds two kids whose names don't begin with M. He feels sad about not finding any more M words, and from talking to Carlo, realizes that he'd rather be Big Bird again today. Carlo takes off his cape, and Big Bird happily goes off to find Snuffy. Carlo announces the sponsors and reports the status of Slimey's spaceship, and gives the cape to a boy passing by.
