SCENE 1 Gina finds Telly eagerly waiting for a delivery from the Triangle of the Month Club, which sends a new and interesting triangle each month. He shows some great samples to Gina, who suggests he pass the time by watching the following film...

SCENE 1 cont'd Telly really liked the film and the delivery man finally arrives baring various "...of the Month" deliveries. He has one for what Telly assumes is himself. He and Gina open the box and are surprised to find a zebra-skinned letter Z inside, courtesy of the Z of the Month Club. They check the label and find the package was meant for Delly Monster. Telly worries about his triangle and finds the idea of collecting letter Zs ridiculous. Gina suggests they call Delly at the Hooper's phone.

SCENE 2 Gina consults the phone book and finds Delly's number. They call her up and Telly explains the situation to her. Delly reveals his triangle is in her possession and the two describe their respective deliveries. Delly asks her mommy to take her to Sesame Street and tells Telly she'll be there after her zither lesson, adding to take care of her Z until she gets there. Alan prepares some lunch in the meantime.
Song "I'm in Great Shape": Kids dance with triangles, circles and squares.

SCENE 3 Telly brushes Delly's Z when Bob comes by. Telly vents his frustrations to Bob; there's nothing can he do with the Z, unlike triangles, which have hundreds of uses. Bob thinks otherwise and sings about how Z is a "Letter in Your Alphabet." The song helps Telly warm up to the Z a little.
Cartoon A television reveals many Z words.

SCENE 3 cont'd Big Bird and the Birdketeers find Telly taking care of the Z and invite him to join their Z activities, which Telly finds very fun.

SCENE 4 cont'd Telly was particularly fond of seeing the letter Z made out of olives in the film and has that portion of the film replayed. Alan invites Telly to have some pizza and Telly requests olives so he can spell "PIZZA" with them.
Muppets Ernie & BertErnie and Bert have pizza and grape juice. Bert complains that Ernie has more of each, so Ernie tries to make it even by eating some of his pizza and drinking some of his grape juice, but then Bert has more. And so on.

SCENE 5 Delly Monster finally arrives and the two have a hard time parting with their objects, having grown to love them. So, they make plans to visit each other's homes and play with their triangles and Zs together.

SCENE 6 Gina announces the sponsors, while Delly tells a flustered Telly she likes him.


Picture Segment Description
Muppets In a skit that capitalizes on the marketing of a certain doll, Zoe and Elmo play a game of "Zoe Says" with the viewer, and accidentally makes Elmo tickle himself.
This sketch replaced "Share" in the summer 1999 reruns.
Animation An Elvis Presley-type man sings "Rockin' Rockets" as he blasts off into space.
This and the following two segments were added after the Ernie and Bert sketch in the summer reruns.
