"Can two very different Grouches share a trash can without driving each other crazy?" Maria exclaims before telling Oscar he has every right to be angry right now; it's his home and Felix has no right to change it. Oscar calls Felix up to tell him to stop cleaning at once. Notes[]

  • This episode is a reference to The Odd Couple, which featured two roommates: the messy Oscar Madison (Jack Klugman) and the neat Felix Unger (Tony Randall). A spoof of the Odd Couple theme is played throughout the episode.
