SCENE 1 Big Bird, Elmo, Prairie Dawn, Maria and Alan are attending a rock 'n' roll show in the arbor starring Little Jerry and the Monotones. Big Bird is impressed with the job of the usher, who serves as the announcer. The concert begins and the band performs their new computer hit, "When You Move the Mouse (It Makes the Arrow Go)."

Prairie will get a black hat and piano like Big Jeffy, Elmo will get big hair like Richie and Big Bird will be the usher.

SCENE 5 Snuffy and Big Bird return with the good news and are ready to start. Prairie stops them, because they need a song to play. She suggests one about the letter L (the letter of the day), but everyone else has a different letter in mind. Maria suggests they perform a song about the whole alphabet. Next, they come up with a name for their group - Big Snuffy and the Alphatones. Finally, Prairie reminds them that they need to practice the song before they perform.
