Picture Segment Description

SCENE 1 Maria welcomes the viewer to Sesame Street excited because she finds Gabi's first water-colored painting she made when she was five. Gabi forgets what it is and Maria has to refresh her memory about that. As Maria goes inside the Fix-It Shop, Gabi gives it to Big Bird who thinks that he can write a story with it. Maria comes back outside and wonders what happened to the picture.
SCENE 1 cont'd Gabi explains that she gave it to Big Bird. She goes to school and gives Maria a kiss. Maria is going to get it when she's done with another toaster.
Animation In stop-motion, art supplies team up to make a picture of a face.
Film Kids display their art.


Cartoon "Museum Boogie": In an homage to the musical cartoons of the 1930s, Cab Callowmouse sneaks into a museum and leads the painted characters in a "Sing" medley.

SCENE 2 Big Bird goes in the courtyard with the water-colored painting that Gabi gave him and finds The Count. Big Bird explains to him what this is and how he likes it: he can write stories. The Count likes it because he can count clouds or marshmallows. He counts 10 marshmallows or clouds. Big Bird lends it to him. Just as the Count leaves, Maria asks Big Bird where it is. Big Bird answers that he gave it to the Count all because he can count many things.
Cartoon The story of Tommy LaPlaid, the painter so sad until he discovered the joys of kicking his paints on the canvas.

She asks Count if she can borrow it because she likes it: has a colorful frame and nice pictures to show her mom and the Count says yes. At that time, Maria asks Count where it is. Cont says that Lulu has it. Maria knows why she has it, because she wanted to show her mother it so now she has to find her.
