SCENE 1 Gordon reads the story of "Little Red Riding Hood" to the kids. Afterward, Big Bird and Snuffy meet up for their playdate, where they will act out the story. They're both confused as to what "goodies" are for their basket and consult Gina. With an answer, they go to get their supplies.

They're ready to continue, when Snuffy becomes frightened when he remembers the presence of the Big Bad Wolf. Big Bird reminds him that the woodcutter saves them later and Gina explains to them what a woodcutter does. Just then, the Big Bad Wolf shows up in Granny's clothes!

SCENE 3 Big Bird and Snuffy invite the Wolf to join their game, offering him the role of the wolf of course. The Wolf, on his way to his own story, would much rather play Little Red, so he and Snuffy switch outfits. Just then, the real Little Red shows up to get the Wolf on track and they both admit they'd like some change in their roles. They let Snuffy be the Granny while they go to change outfits.
