He's also converted the crate into a pretend car, with pie plate steering wheel and paper plate headlights. Zoe races by in her Zoemobile, and Baby Bear fawns over it. He imagines himself driving it through an animated landscape, singing "Let's Go Driving."
SCENE 2 cont'd | Zoe parks the Zoemobile by Baby Bear and invites him to Hooper's Store. He asks if he can drive the Zoemobile, but Zoe's not certain about it. She relents and Baby Bear shares his toy cars in return.
SCENE 2 cont'd | Telly arrives for their playdate, when Baby Bear shows him that they'll be driving in style with the Zoemobile. The two can't agree who should take it for a spin first, not noticing it has started to roll away on its own. They finally notice it's missing, just in time to witness it crash into Oscar's trash can, putting a dent in the front. Oscar comes out from the can and is very pleased with what he sees. Telly begins to panic, but Baby Bear is certain he can fix it, just as long as Telly can keep Zoe in Hooper's for an extended period.
SCENE 2 cont'd | Zoe has finished her sandwich, when Telly rushes in and recommends she try some broccoli for dessert. As Alan prepares some, Telly begins to spout some facts about broccoli. Meanwhile, Baby Bear has gotten Papa Bear's toolbox and assumes he can repair the Zoemobile based on how he's seen Papa Bear use tools. He bangs the vehicle with his hammer, which only manages to knock a front wheel off.
SCENE 2 cont'd | A montage follows, with Telly doing various performances to keep Zoe's attention diverted, while Baby Bear tries taping the wheel back to the mobile (managing to get himself stuck in the process).
SCENE 2 cont'd | Telly wraps up his tuba version of "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida," but before he can do an encore, Zoe tries to leave. He blocks the doorway, while Baby Bear conceals the broken fender with a potted plant. Papa Bear arrives and Baby Bear confesses what happened. Papa Bear offers to help, but only after Baby Bear tells Zoe the truth. Telly and Zoe finally reach the Zoemobile and Baby Bear explains what happened. Zoe sadly hugs her broken ride and Baby Bear assumes she no longer wants to be friends. Zoe assures him their friendship is more important and she's glad to know that Papa Bear can fix it. He does a quick repair, even adding some flames on the sides, and she takes it for a test drive.
