SCENE 2 Ernie shows Maria how he's pretending to be a magician today. He grabs her two carrot sticks to demonstrate his magic subtraction trick (which involves eating one of them). The Amazing Mumford overhears a magic discussion and shows up, then offers to show off a real magic trick. Maria splits the scene as Mumford tries out his new small-big trick on Rubber Duckie, turning it two feet tall. Ernie is worried that he won't be able to hold Rubber Duckie like this and asks Mumford to change it back. Mumford waves his wand, but now Rubber Duckie is even larger! Mumford admits that he doesn't quite remember how to shrink Rubber Duckie and goes home to consult his issue of Modern Magician Magazine.

SCENE 2 cont'd Ernie tries squeaking Rubber Duckie like normal, only now the squeaks are as loud and deep as a foghorn. Maria is shocked by the sight and suggests they use the computer to find a solution. She finds the website of The Great Quackini, a duck magician who does tricks involving ducks. With just a click of the mouse, Quackini appears before them and Ernie leads him to the problem.

SCENE 2 cont'd Quackini sees Ernie's giant duckie and easily turns it back to normal with a short rhyme. Ernie is very grateful for his services. Mumford returns, his head buried in his magazine, and reads the magic words that would return Rubber Duckie to normal. The smoke clears and now Quackini has become quite tiny. Mumford, unaware of what he's caused, invites Quackini to lunch while Ernie celebrates his restored Rubber Duckie.
