Despite encouragement from the crowd, he's still petrified. Telly sees his best friend needs his help and rushes onstage to help him. He reminds him that the audience is full of their good friends and even starts singing the song to build up his prowess. Soon, Baby Bear's fear subsides and starts singing with his friends. |

SCENE 1 cont'd | Next, it's Bob's turn to take the stage. Just as he gets partway through the chorus of "The People in Your Neighborhood," the karaoke machine suddenly malfunctions. "What can I say? It's a rental," says Alan. Telly volunteers to play some music with his tuba, and soon, others fetch their instruments to play the song as Bob sings. Watching from down the block, Oscar bemoans the fact that he can't escape the street residents' fun even at nighttime. |
