Suddenly, a fanfare signals the arrival of Cookie Hood and his horse, Marian. He tells them he takes cookies from those with a surplus and gives to the cookie-less, producing Maria's tin of cookies to give away. They tell him that he's been stealing and he realizes that's not right. He returns Maria's cookies, but doesn't hasn't a crumb to give to Cookie Monster.
