A duckling hatches from it and the two take an instant liking to each other. Rosita comes by and notices the duckling thinks Telly's his mommy. They decide to consult a grown-up. | |
SCENE 1 cont'd | They visit Gina's clinic and she gives a check-up of the duckling, who is in fine health. They decide to leave it in her care, but the duckling does not want to be separated from his mommy. Telly's maternal instincts kick in and he realizes he cannot part with the duckling either. Gina provides them with some duck food and gives some other tips to take care of the duckling. | |
SCENE 1 cont'd | As the duckling chows down, Telly wonders if he's even fit to be a duck's mother even though he's not a duck. Inspired, he runs off and returns in a duck outfit. He sings a song to help teach the duckling the ways of a duck. | |
SCENE 1 cont'd | Big Bird comes by with Mrs. Duck, who is panicked over her egg, which went missing through a series of odd mishaps. The duckling is hesitant to part with Telly, but he encourages the duckling to go with his real mommy. Mrs. Duck makes Telly an honorary part of their family and allows him to visit whenever he wants. | |
