SCENE | Gabi steps out of 123 Sesame Street and finishes a phone call with Alan, saying that she's on her way to Hooper's Store to help out when a penguin softball team is scheduled to dine there. She notices Elmo sitting on the stoop feeling very angry because Zoe hasn't arrived for their play date yet. He wants to sing "Let's Go Driving," so Gabi agrees to fill in until Zoe arrives. The two sing the song while pretending to be chickens and ducks going for a drive (Gabi: "Expand our barnyard driving horizons!"), and by the end of the song Zoe arrives. She apologizes for being late, and she and Elmo pretend to drive like pigs as Gabi heads to Hooper's. |

SCENE, cont'd | As she makes her way down the street, Gabi hears Oscar loudly sighing. He's extra grouchy because Grundgetta hasn't shown up for their usual morning meet-up, and while Grouches usually like when others are late, he's in the mood to do some grouchy things with someone else. He doesn't think Gabi would be a good replacement and Gabi is offended, so she calls Alan to say she'll be late. In order to prove her grouchiness, she musses her hair up and puts on a rude demeanor before she and Oscar sing "The Grouch Song" together. Near the end, Grundgetta joins in and the two Grouches start squabbling over whether she or Gabi is grouchier. |

SCENE, cont'd | Gabi starts walking toward Hooper's again when she hears a disappointed groan from Snuffy. He's in the same situation as Elmo and Oscar - Big Bird isn't there, so they can't start their play date. Gabi calls Alan once again to tell him she'll be there later... only for she and Alan to realize they're both right next to each other. Alan gives her the go-ahead to work out Snuffy's problem. The two play a rapping game called "Rhyme 'N' Stomp," which includes both rhyming words and stomping feet. After several rhymes, Big Bird joins the others. |

SCENE, cont'd | The last stomping moves of Snuffy cause Gabi to stumble into Hooper's, just in time for the penguin softball team to arrive. She and Alan serve them fish sticks and ice water as the athletes squawk about the game they just had, revealing that one teammate has been traded from the Elephants and the team even has a goat (Jim Martin). |
