SCENE | At Hooper's Store, Alan welcomes the viewers to Sesame Street. As the patrons (Big Bird, Miles, and a mother and her daughter) leave except for Gabi, Cookie Monster enters and orders a cookie from Alan. After eating it, Cookie Monster wants some more, but Alan tells Cookie Monster that he ate the last cookie. So Alan decides to bake some more, but Cookie Monster has a hard time waiting for them to be ready. Gabi replies that he could do something while he waits and suggests he write a story about cookies. So Cookie Monster dictates the story, while Gabi writes it down. |

However, while this makes Big Bird happy, it doesn't make King Cookie happy. The next to arrive is Lady Gabi of the Schoolyard, who does a special hand clap, but it also doesn't cheer up Cookie. However, the Royal Helper enjoys the special hand clap and starts to do it until King Cookie tells him to stop. The story comes to a halt as Cookie Monster asks Alan if the cookies are ready. Alan replies that it is almost done and Gabi tells Cookie Monster to finish up the story. |
