SCENE Big Bird welcomes the viewer as he fluffs his feathers. Elmo catches up with him and wants to fluff along, so the two sing a brief fluffing tune. Elmo wonders what it be like to be all feathery and wishes he could be a bird. This summons his Fairy Godperson, who plays back Elmo's wish on his cellular wand. With a musical spell, the Godperson turns Elmo into a little, red bird! He vanishes off to help his next client, a moose who wants to fly like a squirrel. Big Bird is impressed with the new bird Elmo.
