SCENE | Zoe and Rocco welcome the viewers to Sesame Street. Zoe is trying to find someone to take care of Rocco while she is at swimming class. Elmo comes by and says hi to Zoe, but then tries to leave when he sees Rocco. Zoe explains her problem to Elmo and tells him that she needs a rock sitter for Rocco. Elmo thinks Zoe should leave Rocco at home because he is just a rock. At that moment, Zoe places her head to Rocco and tells Elmo that Rocco doesn't want Elmo to take care of him. Elmo doesn't seem to mind since he has to take care of his goldfish, Dorothy, who is alive. Zoe continues to find a rock sitter for Rocco.
|
SCENE, cont'd | At that moment, Zoe hears a duck (Joey Mazzarino) sneeze and finds Gina taking care of a duck, who has allergic sinusitis. She goes over to Gina and asks her if she could take care of Rocco. Gina agrees to take care of him since it shouldn't be so hard. Suddenly a chicken (Jennifer Barnhart) comes by with the hiccups and Gina tells it to go in the waiting room. As Gina is about to take Rocco with her, Zoe decides to find another person to take care of Rocco since Gina is busy taking care of animals and wouldn't have enough time to read, sing, or play with Rocco.
SCENE, cont'd | At that moment, Telly comes by and Zoe asks him if he wants to take care of Rocco. Telly agrees, but he isn't sure how to take care of a rock. Zoe tells Telly that he could sing rock music and tell rock stories to Rocco. With that, Zoe goes off to her swim class.
SCENE, cont'd | Elmo comes by and notices that Telly is Rocco's sitter now. Telly explains to Elmo that he is having a hard time coming up with a rock story for Rocco. Elmo offers his help and they both try to think up a story. At that moment, Baby Bear passes them and they both ask him for help. However, Baby Bear says he is having lunch with Goldilocks at his home and he doesn't want her to eat his porridge. As Baby Bear leaves for home, Telly gets an idea for a story called, "Goldirock and Baby Bear." Elmo likes the title and asks Telly to read the story to him and Rocco.
SCENE, cont'd | Telly starts off the story with Goldirock inside of Baby Bear's house. She was about to eat his porridge when Baby Bear arrived back from his walk and caught Goldirock eating his porridge. Baby Bear suggests to Goldirock that they could share the porridge together. The story ends with Baby Bear and Goldirock sharing the porridge together.
SCENE, cont'd | As Elmo leaves to go somewhere, Telly is trying to come up with a rock song, but cannot come up with one. Alan and Bob hear Telly’s shouting and try to figure out what his problem is. When they find out that Telly needs a rock song, they come up with a song ("Around the Rock") featuring Hoots the Owl playing the saxophone. At the end of the song, Telly likes the song and believes Rocco likes it too.
SCENE, cont'd | After Alan and Bob leave, Zoe arrives back from her swimming lesson to pick up Rocco. Telly tells her about all the fun they had while she was away, and offers to help her take care of Rocco anytime. With that, Zoe ask Telly if he wants to take care of Rocco on Wednesdays and Fridays when she has swim class, which delights Telly and he says yes. Then Telly tells the story, "Goldirock and Baby Bear," to Rocco again and Zoe listens along.
