- The episode parodies Gilligan's Island, entitled "Bearigan's Island," with Fozzie as a parody of Gilligan (named Bearigan), Kermit as the Skipper (called Skipper Kermit) and Piggy as Ginger Grant, Scooter as Thurston Howell III, Skeeter as Mrs. Howell, Gonzo as the Professor, and Rowlf as Mary Ann Summers.
- Animal does not get a parody part related to the show, but later plays giant island monster Animal Kong (King Kong).
