Elmo is sad about his broken tricycle and Big Bird feels bad because he didn't mean to break it. Gordon helps them both feel better by reminding them that they can take the broken tricycle to the Fix-It Shop! Oscar objects to this ("If it's broken, don't fix it!"), and asks if he can have Elmo's broken tricycle. Oscar pretends not to mind when Elmo says no, because "It's a lose-lose situation!" As they head for the Fix-It Shop, however, Oscar mumbles to himself "what a waste!"
