COLD OPEN What's the Word on the Street?: Machine
4196a.jpg
SCENE Leela shows Elmo a pig she made from a plastic bottle. Oscar arrives to collect his weekly lint ball, when suddenly one of the washing machines begins to act up. Leela claims she always has trouble with it and wants to get rid of it, but Elmo reminds Leela she doesn’t like to get rid of things, so she calls Luis in to fix it.

4196c.jpg
SCENE cont'd Luis arrives and turns the machine off. Elmo wants to help, so Luis asks him to look for a wrench in his tool box. Elmo doesn’t know what a wrench looks like, but Leela points out it looks like a letter C. Once Elmo finds it, Luis tries tightening a bolt on the back, but when he looks inside to make sure it works, he is sprayed in the face with water and the machine starts clanging again.

4196e.jpg
SCENE cont'd Luis’ next plan is to replace the water hose and get a new nut for the bolt and asks Elmo to find a nut, in the shape of a hexagon. Luis replaces the nut and activates the machine. At first, it seems normal, but it then starts rattling and begins to move around the Laundromat, much to Oscar’s delight.
4196f.jpg
SCENE cont'd Once back in place, Leela pulls the plug and Luis inspects in the inside of the machine. He pulls out 7 items (including the Teeny Little Super Guy). Leela tests it out now by putting clothes into it, but it begins to rattle and throw the clothes all over the place. Luis can do no more and Leela wants to get rid of it, until Elmo gets an idea to reuse it somehow...
Episode4196.jpg
SCENE cont'd Elmo uses a bottle for a loud speaker and announces that the Laundromat now has a new Grouch messing machine. All the grouches (including Grundgetta) crowd into the Laundromat to get their clothes ruined.

Mrs. Sparklenose announces today in class, the students can earn their Fairy Godmother wings by participating in the “Cinderella Challenge”. With a brief game of “Eeny Meeny Miney Ming”, Blögg is chosen to the Cinderella. First they must poof a gown on him. They turn him into a hula dancer (dressing “down”), a clown and James Brown, until they come up with a good rhyme and make a gown appear. Next, they need glass slippers, but they ones they conjure up are too small and too big (and end up breaking, forcing Niblet to clean them up). They call on Spot, who shows them images of the number 12, which Gonnigan realizes is Blogg’s shoe size. Next, they need to turn a pumpkin into a coach, but Niblet has already eaten it. They improvise and turn Niblet into a motorcycle, which sends them all around the room. Gonnigan steers them to the ball pit, which counts as going to the ball, which means they pass and get their wings!
