COLD OPEN | What's the Word on the Street?: Metamorphosis |

SCENE | Elmo and Abby are lounging in the garden, when music plays and an announcer introduces the "Find The Amphibian" game. Host Anne Phibian describes the game to them: they must find an amphibian before the tadpole becomes an adult. Elmo claims that it will take awhile for that to happen (a lesson he learned from Gordon), but the tadpole is growing on "game show time", which means they must act fast. She gives them their first clue as to what an amphibian is: they start out living in water. |

SCENE cont'd | Outside the Laundromat, Chris drops off some laundry to Leela. A fish arrives, hoping to get some dry cleaning. Elmo and Abby find the fish and claim she's an amphibian. However, Anne points out that fishes live their whole lives in water, so the fish is not an amphibian. She gives them another clue: amphibians also live on land for air. |

SCENE cont'd | Elmo and Abby come across a robin doing breathing exercises. They once again think it's an amphibian, but Anne points out that amphibians don't have feathers like birds do. She gives them a third clue: amphibians have four legs. |

SCENE cont'd | A shoe-shiner gives Buster the Horse a horseshoe-shine, counting each of his four legs. Elmo and Abby discover him and believe he's an amphibian, but as Anne and Buster point out, he's a mammal (since he has hair all over his body). Anne gives them a final clue: amphibians go through a big change (metamorphosis). |

SCENE cont'd | Elmo and Abby come across an alligator. They learn he was once an egg, which they see as a big change and claim he's an amphibian. However, the alligator shows them a baby picture, which depicts him younger, but with no real change. The tadpole has nearly grown up and Elmo and Abby are disappointed. They explain to Chris what clues they got and wonder why they got no results. Chris explains that they only looked for an animal that fit each clue they got, not all the clues together. They put the clues together and see that the host, Anne, is an amphibian! They win the game just as the tadpole becomes an adult frog. They then win some frogs to dance with. |

Muppets / Animation | Abby's Flying Fairy School Mrs. Sparklenose helps Abby, Blogg and Gonnigan recycle bottles they brought from home. One of Abby's bottles is dusty, so she rubs it and out comes Gene the Genie. He feels cramped inside and refuses to go back in. The bottle, not wanting to be empty, begins hopping around, looking for someone to suck inside. The bottle entraps Mrs. Sparklenose inside, while Gene plans to spend 1,001 nights in Vegas. Abby reminds Gene he needs to grant 3 wishes. Abby wishes for Mrs. Sparklenose to get out of the bottle, with Niblet then taken in his place. Gonnigan rephrases the wish and asks for not one of them to be inside, so he poofs them all inside, thus there is not one. They call on Spot, who shows them a film on “all” and “none”. They wish for all of them to get out and none of them would be inside. The bottle looks for someone to capture and it gets Mrs. Sparklenose again. Gene refuses to switch places with her, not wanting to be in a small space again. They twinkle think and get an idea to magically recycle his bottle with other ones to make a larger one, complete with sliding glass doors so he can leave whenever he feels. (First: Episode 4189) |
