COLD OPEN What's the Word on the Street?: Rhythm

SCENE Today is Baby Bear's birthday, and he's about to celebrate it in the arbor! Telly arrives with his present, and Baby Bear goes over the plan: first they'll play some party games, then treat themselves to his Mama Bear's special chocolate-porridge cake. This cake is very special to him, and he's worried that his little sister Curly will ruin the cake, so Telly promises to guard Curly from getting her grubby paws on the cake.

Some guests arrive with presents for Baby Bear, and the party is ready to begin! The first game they play is limbo, but after Telly goes under the stick, Curly tries to get the cake, and Telly immediately stops her in her tracks, but accidentally breaks the stick when he does so. Baby Bear isn't angry that the stick is broken; he's just glad the cake is safe.

The next game is "Pin the Spoon on the Porridge Bowl" which involves the use of a blindfold. They spin Baby Bear around three times, which makes him dizzy. He tries to find his way to the porridge bowl, and pins the spoon on the bottom of the bowl. Next it's Curly's turn, but once she hears the word "cake," she runs towards the cake again. In another attempt to stop her, Telly ends up breaking the porridge bowl picture board. He feels ashamed about it, but Baby Bear reassures him that he did fine.

Next, it's the Great Pogo Stick Game, where everyone bounces on a pogo stick, including Curly, even though she is too young. She bounces towards the cake, and in a slow-motion shot, Telly tries to save the cake from being wrecked by Curly ... however, he is the one who ends up with his face in the cake. Baby Bear is shocked and upset about what just happened to his cake, and says his party is ruined. Telly feels like it's all his fault, and runs away in shame.

Gordon encounters Telly looking sad, and tries to convince him to go back to the party. Baby Bear catches up with him, and tells him that his party wouldn't be the same without his best friend. Telly feels much better, and decides to go back.

Baby Bear thanks everyone for coming to his party, and asks for Telly help blow out his candles. Curly beats him to it, then wishes him a happy birthday and gives him a kiss. He lets her have the first piece of cake.

Muppets / Animation Abby's Flying Fairy School
The class plays with Niblet, the class pet. It’s Gonnigan’s turn to hold him, but he’s to afraid to and disappears. Blogg then tries to and Niblet steals his wand. After a chase, he runs into a crayon drawing n the wall. However, they are unable to get inside. Spot shows them videos of doors, which gives them the idea to use a door. After twinkle-thinking, Abby realizes the drawing is Gonnigan’s and he can draw a door on it. Once inside, they try and follow him, but he draws a river between them. Abby draws a pumpkin to get them across, but Gonnigan adds a sail. Once on the river, Niblet re-draws it as the top of a mountain. Gonnigan adds wheels to get down to him, but Niblet draws a second hill, causing them to slide back and forth between them. Niblet escapes the drawing and heads into his Gerblecorn hole. They try opening it with a spell (rhyming “door” with “Zsa Zsa Gabor”), but find out magic can’t open it. They sob at the idea of never seeing Niblet again, which brings him out of his hole. He gives Blogg his wand back and has Gonnigan hold him. Mrs. Sparklenose rewards them (and the viewer) with a gold star.
