COLD OPEN | What's the Word on the Street?: Senses
SCENE | Elmo, Telly and Rosita welcome the viewer and introduce their new club - The Excellent Eyes Club, which helps people using their eyes. They sing their club theme before heading off to find people. They discover Leela gardening, but she's lost her other glove. Using their eyes, they find it and run off.
SCENE cont'd | The club now finds Oscar, who (due to Grouch allergies) can't figure out which bottle has his sour milk. They use their eyes, but find there's no difference. As they sob, Gabi comes by and shows them they have other senses besides sight; for instance, the sense of smelling. They smell the bottles and find his sour milk (not without being offended by the putrid smell). They change their club to the Excellent Eyes and Nose Club.
SCENE cont'd | At Hooper's Store, they find Baby Bear has a problem: he isn't sure if he put sugar or salt in his porridge. They can't see or smell a difference, when Alan points out another sense: taste. Elmo grabs a spoon and gives it a taste, finding it sweet, meaning he didn't use salt. They now change to the Excellent Eyes, Nose and Tongues Club.
SCENE cont'd | They now go to Big Bird's nest, where Big Bird can't find Radar, believing he's behind his desk. They can't use their senses of sight, smell or taste to get him. Gordon appears at the window and states they have another sense: touch. Telly reaches behind and, after pulling out a helmet and tape, finds Radar! They now become the Excellent Eyes, Nose, Tongue and Fingers Club.
SCENE cont'd | They now find Little Bo Peep, who has again lost her sheep. They can't see the sheep and Bo Peep advises them against smelling and tasting them. They try to feel around for the sheep, but to no avail. They begin to sob again, when they recall the adults mentioning they have five senses and they've only used four. They discover the fifth sense, hearing, and listen for the sheep. They follow the sound of their bleating and find them in the garden. Since naming the senses in their name has gotten too long, they decide to change their name to the All Our Senses Club.

They scout the ocean floor, using their five senses to locate each of Blögg's 6 sludge balls, having run ins with a juggling octopus and an electric eel.
