COLD OPEN What's the Word on the Street?: Proud

SCENE Elmo welcomes the viewer, explaining he's going to play basketball today. He shows Leela how he's prepared; he has his special shirt, special ball and a healthy snack for energy. Abby appears, finding Elmo having trouble getting his shirt on. Since her mommy helped Cinderella get dressed for the ball, Abby helps Elmo in the same way and offers to become his fairy godmother. She also un-peels his banana and un-spills his glass of milk. Before Elmo heads off to play, she gives him a magical teeth brushing.
SCENE cont'd Elmo and Abby go to the hoop and Elmo shows her how the game works. He throws the ball and misses the hoop. He tries again with the same results, upsetting him. Fairy Godmother Abby has an idea and enchants his ball so that it goes in the hoop each time. Elmo is glad the ball goes in the hoop, but finds something's missing, something Abby can't conjure up for him.

SCENE cont'd Leela returns and they tell her what's happened thus far. Leela has an idea as to what Elmo's not feeling and has Abby change the ball back. She shows Elmo how to properly throw the basketball and explains that if he misses, he just has to keep practicing. Elmo makes a basket and finally finds what was missing - the feeling of pride. He and his friends sing about his newfound pride.

Muppets / Animation Abby's Flying Fairy School
Today is Picture Day, and all the students have made themselves up nice, except for Gonnigan, who's having a bad hair day. Abby conjures up some "Rapunzel-Brand Hair Gel" and, because he has so much hair, uses the whole container on him. While it makes a suave hairdo at first, it soon begins to grow out of control (while Blogg measures its length using Niblet). Abby tries using a barrette and Blogg uses a stove-pipe hat to control his hair, but it ends up getting even longer and grabbing hold of everyone. After a twinkle-think, Abby conjures up Papino the Pixie, a barber who cuts his hair to normal length and the class takes their picture.

Muppets Elmo the Musical: Sea Captain the Musical
Elmo imagines himself as a sea captain, with the viewer as his first mate. His goal is to find Moby Pink, the rarest creature in the seven seas. With his chicken crew, they remove the anchor and set sail. A Bottle tells him that to find Moby Pink, they must sail to the Bermuda Octagon. They pass the Bermuda Triangle and find the Bermuda Octagon, where a giant octopus forbids them from passing, unless they defeat him in ping-pong. Elmo gives a serve and the cocky octopus gets tangled up in his arms and loses. They find Moby Pink, who thrashes around, irritated by the barnacles on her back.
