COLD OPEN What's the Word on the Street?: Furious

SCENE Abby and Zoe welcome the viewer and say Leela is going to read them a story...if she ever stops texting; she's constantly messaging her brother and shows no sign of stopping. She realizes she's left the book at the Laundromat and leaves to get it. Abby and Zoe see they'll never get their story if Leela keeps texting, so they decide to hide her phone until the story's over. Zoe places it in a flower pot, but they can still hear its ringing and need another place.
SCENE cont'd Oscar, overhearing their predicament, offers to help. He knows the perfect hiding spot - inside his trash can. He hurls it into the can, as Zoe and Abby plead he find it. Oscar claims he would, except he's not sure where it landed.

SCENE cont'd Zoe and Abby go to tell Leela what they did, when she notices her phone missing. Before they can fess up, detective Ramone Bone arrives, offering to help dig up the whereabouts of the phone. While Leela hangs onto his leash, he sniffs out the phone. He first comes across Gina's scone (which rhymes with phone), then Telly's ice cream cone. He gets further down the street and finds his long-lost bone and ditches the case to bury it.

SCENE cont'd Leela hears her phone ringing from inside Oscar's can and in order to get, she must venture in herself. While stumbling around the can and a brief struggle with Fluffy, she gets it back. Oscar lets her stay, saying there's nothing more annoying than texting. Leela continues to text, when Abby and Zoe get a new idea - they'll use magic to make it disappear. Abby doesn't have the trick down pat, but tries anyway. Instead of making it disappear, the phone turns into a phone-chicken, which she continues to text from.

SCENE cont'd Chris comes by and complains that Leela is texting him from a few feet away. Zoe and Abby let it slip that they're responsible for the chicken-phone and explain their actions. Chris tells them they should never take someone's phone, no matter how they feel and claims they should instead tell Leela how they feel. They confront Leela and tell her what's happened. Leela sees that she has be texting too much and forgives them, and Abby turns her phone back to normal. She shuts her phone off so they can read undisturbed. Chris, however, is now stuck with the vibrating chicken-phone.
Muppets / Celebrity Jesse Williams and Elmo talk about the word furious, but can't demonstrate it as neither ever gets that angry. Felix Fly, however, appears and is very furious.

Muppets / Animation Abby's Flying Fairy School
An awful smell fills the classroom. The source is Blogg's "Schlubby," an old, dirty, smell sock that he treasures. He throws it into some magic mud to make mud pies with, but it comes alive. It starts running around the room, dirtying everything (including Abby). The only way to make him stop is to clean him, which Blogg reluctantly agrees to do. He tries to wash him by licking (like a cat), but ends up lassoing his tongue around Peck. Gonnigan and Niblet turn on a hose and clean Abby, but not Schlubby. Abby twinkle-thinks and gets the idea to use a washing machine to clean him. Although the sock comes out clean, Blogg is happy because now he can get it dirty all over again.

Muppets Elmo the Musical: Airplane the Musical
Elmo imagines himself as an airplane pilot who is hired by a penguin bride-to-be to fly her to the South Pole for her wedding at 11 o'clock (it being 7 o'clock now). As they take off, she realizes she needs a ring. They crash into a jewelry store, where the clerk states they have no rings left. His breakfast bagel is a shaped like a ring (a circle), so she buys that. Once in the sky, she now states she needs flowers and has them land in a flower shop. She needs 11 flowers, but the clerk offers 6 lilies and 5 roses, which Elmo adds to make 11. The penguin stops their flight once again to get some bridesmaids. Velvet places them on a farm, not knowing where else to find bridesmaids. The bride has three dresses to fit, so she turns away a pair of pigs. She finds three cows, who make perfect bridesmaids. The extra weight prevents them from taking off, so Elmo and the others flap their arms, which helps get the plane to the South Pole, just in time for her wedding! (truncated theme song)
