COLD OPEN | What's the Word on the Street?: Diagram
SCENE | Luis makes some adjustments to Telly's bike, when Little Chicken appears, hopping around with glee. Telly interprets her actions and determines she's excited for a bike ride. However, Luis doesn't have any bikes that are small enough for her to ride. Little Chicken gets sad, until Telly proposes Luis build her a bike. Luis pulls out a diagram of a bike, but thinks some problems will arise when building it.
SCENE cont'd | Luis finishes up making a bike frame from spare parts. Telly and Little Chicken celebrate the finished bike, when Luis points out they're still missing some parts - wheels, handles and a seat. Telly sets out to find some wheels first. He runs into Hooper's Store, where Alan serves Gina and Leela some personal pizzas. Telly imagines using the pizzas for wheels, when he realizes the pans would work much better. He borrows them from Alan, stating they'll be used to make a chicken happy.
SCENE cont'd | Luis finishes attaching the wheels, which work fine. Little Chicken is happy to have a bike now, until Luis points out they're still missing some parts. Little Chicken sulks, forcing Telly to run off again. Back at Hooper's, he watches Alan roll dough to make some pretzel rods. Telly imagines using a pretzel for handlebars, but realizes they'll break. He does, however, think Alan's rolling pin would work and takes it too, failing to explain his reasoning for it.
SCENE cont'd | Telly and Little Chicken think the bike is completed, but Luis points out there's one more thing missing - the seat. Little Chicken gets frustrated, so Telly runs off one last time. At Hooper's, Alan packs a lunch when Telly appears. Telly eyes the "to-go" container and Alan immediately lets him have it.
SCENE cont'd | Little Chicken's bike is finally completed! As they find a helmet, Alan arrives to get some air in his tire, deciding to go for a ride while Chris minds the store. He joins Telly and Little Chicken on their ride.
