COLD OPEN | What's the Word on the Street?: Divide
SCENE | A woman drives up to Hooper's Store in a large shoe, asking if they're serving lunch. She introduces herself to Telly and Alan as The Old Woman Who Lives in a Shoe, adding that her nursery rhyme is now outdated - she does know what to do with her many kids: take them out to lunch! Her rambunctious kids all flood in and immediately cause chaos. She requests sandwiches for them all, but isn't sure how many they'll need; she has so many kids, they're all just a blur. She then leaves to take a phone call.
SCENE cont'd | Alan tells Telly in order to solve the problem, they'll need to remain calm. Telly takes some calming breaths and realizes the solution: freeze dance! He plays some music and when it stops, the kids freeze and are counted, totaling to 7. The Old Woman returns and points out they forgot the girls, who are just as chaotic. The Old Woman leaves for a massage, leaving the kids in their care. Telly frets they'll never freeze long enough to all be counted, until Alan points out they'll only need to count the girls then add them all together. With another game of freeze dance, they find the total is 12.
SCENE cont'd | The two make sandwiches for everyone and the kids each call out their names as they approach a sandwich. As they continue playing, the Old Woman stops by before her pilates class and requests they watch the kids a little longer. She adds they are thirsty and loves smoothies. Since each kid wants a different smoothie, Alan divides them into groups by fruit. One kid, Ed, settles for peach when his favorite fruit (boysenberry) isn't available.
SCENE cont'd | After the smoothies, the Old Woman returns, relaxed and ready to take her kids home. She assures them of her return; she wants to try one of the sandwiches! "We deliver!" Alan and Telly cry out to her.

Gonnigan loses control of his wings in fright and hits the lunchbox, opening it and releasing some large and rambunctious snacks. They inspect the lunchbox and find some shapes at the bottom, which should match the shape of each item.
