COLD OPEN | What's the Word on the Street?: Technology
SCENE | Rosita, Elmo, Abby and Mando watch some viral videos on his laptop, when Telly rushes in. He tells them of a new website someone on the playground told him about - "Areyoucool.cool" (Cool.cool being a new way of saying "cool"). He claims the site will tell them what the latest trends are and hopes they'll be cool.cool too by using it.
SCENE cont'd | The website shows the latest trend is wearing big cowboy hats. The monsters all fetch hats of their own, when the trend changes immediately afterward; now bigger hats are what's cool.cool. They get bigger hats, when the trend changes again, now to biggest hats. The monsters find it hard to stand up without falling over while wearing the hats. Abby shows off the kind of hats she likes - horned opera singer hats! Rosita notices Abby's having more fun that way, but Telly insists on following what's cool.cool.
SCENE cont'd | Suddenly, the trend changes again. Hats are now out of style completely and wearing 2 pairs of sunglasses at once is considered cool.cool. The monsters follow the trend, finding it hard to see. The trend shifts again, now claiming 3 sunglasses are cool.cool. The monsters get another pair and stumble around, completely blind. Abby shows off the kind of glasses she likes - Groucho glasses, which always make her smile. Mando tries explaining that they should do what they like, but Telly insists on being cool.cool.
SCENE cont'd | Sunglasses are now out according to the website. Now, they check out some rather bland music and an unusual dance that are now considered cool. The monsters try it out, but find they don't like it. Telly doesn't understand why they don't like what's cool.cool, while Abby sings a sample of her favorite kind of music - sea shanties! The monsters realize that they should do what they like instead of letting a website tell them what to do. Mando leads everyone in a song, explaining that the best thing they can be is "You.You."

Super Grover 2.0 arrives on the scene and observes the piano is big, hard and heavy. He browses through his utility sock and finds a "super spatula", but can't flip the piano up. He then pulls out some balloons that can't lift the piano, but lift Grover up in the air! He grabs hold of the clothesline and breaks it. The birds lift him up with the pulley and the eager robin son wonders if the rope could lift the piano. Grover proceeds to whip the piano with it and the robin son decides to play superhero. He deduces that if they put the rope through the pull on their tree, they can lift it. Grover sits on the piano to come up with another plan, not noticing they are lifting him up with it.
