SCENE 1 | Elmo and Nina visit the Library to find some books - Nina needs a book to write a report with and Elmo wants the new Galactic Gail comic book. Librarian Frankie is unable to assist them, as she has a puppet show to perform in the story area. Grover happens by and claims he's a library expert. He dons the appropriate wardrobe and offers to help the two find their books. They're then joined by a quartet of Honkers, who also need assistance. The Honkers honk in excitement, but Elmo and Nina point out the signs regarding the area's "No Honking" policy. | |
SCENE 1 cont'd | Grover's search for their books leads them to the media center of the library. Grover is astonished to learn what computers are used for in the library. | |
SCENE 1 cont'd | Grover now leads everyone to the Biography section, where he just so happens to find a book of Marie Curie that Nina was looking for. There is still no sign of a Galactic Gail comic book for Elmo, though. | |
SCENE 1 cont'd | The group now heads to the Fiction section, where Grover is able to help some of the Honkers find books, but there's still no sign of Elmo's book. Grover prevents them from taking the books away, until he learns that's how libraries work. | |
SCENE 1 cont'd | Nina shows Grover how the checkout process works. He's proud to have been so helpful to everyone, except Elmo is leaving the library empty handed. That is, until a volunteer posing as Galactic Gail (Zoë Kravitz) arrives and gives him a copy of the latest issue; Elmo is so starstruck he can barely speak. She checks out his book and leads everyone to the reading area for storytime. | |
