SCENE 1 | Big Bird presents a block castle, the largest he's ever made, to Alan and Nina. He thinks he can make it higher with another block and goes to his nest to retrieve one. | |
SCENE 1 cont'd | While he's gone, Zoe and Rosita pass through with their game of football. Rosita throws the ball too far and it flies into the castle, toppling it over. The two think whoever made it will be really mad and they go hide in the nearby bushes. Snuffy happens by and checks out the blocks. Big Bird returns to find his castle destroyed and, seeing Snuffy as the only one around, assumes he's responsible. Snuffy tries to explain himself, but Big Bird storms off in a huff. | |
SCENE 1 cont'd | Having watched what just happened, Rosita and Zoe wonder what they'll do about the situation. Zoe disguises herself as "Mr. Fuzzlebuzz," who will take the blame for knocking over Big Bird's castle. Rosita wants a disguise too and fetches her asparagus outfit (the only one she has). Zoe thinks that will be too suspicious and has Rosita change back. | |
SCENE 1 cont'd | Snuffy explains his problem to Alan, who encourages Snuffy to speak up for himself. Rosita brings "Mr. Fuzzlebuzz" over to find Big Bird so he can apologize for knocking the castle over. Alan sees through the disguise easily. Zoe's mustache begins to tickle and she sneezes it off, revealing her true identity. The monsters admit what happened and want to make things right. They agree to tell the truth, while Snuffy vows to stick up for himself. | |
SCENE 1 cont'd | Big Bird tells Nina about what happened and realizes that he never listened to what Snuffy had to say. He and Nina go off to find him and apologize. | |
SCENE 1 cont'd | Both groups finally run into each other. Big Bird apologizes for not listening, Snuffy asserts he was not responsible and the monsters admit their mistake. Big Bird is very understanding and invites them all to help him build a new block castle. | |
