|COLD OPEN||Since today's show is all about writing, Ernie writes his name several times. Bert finds this annoying, especially when Ernie shows how he's written Bert's name as well.|
|SCENE 1||Elmo and Abby watch Chris write out some new signs for Hooper's Store, when a distressed prince barges through the frame. He introduces himself as Prince Billy and explains his plight: not long ago, a fortune teller told him about his true love, Snoozing Beauty, who is under an enchantment. He scoured the land searching for her until he finally found her on Sesame Street. But, there's something keeping him from his happily ever after.|
|SCENE 1 cont'd||He shows Elmo and Abby where Snoozing Beauty is asleep out in the arbor, as well as his many failed attempts to wake her with loud sounds. Biff and Sully drop by to do some jackhammering, which doesn't manage to wake her up either. Prince Billy fears he'll never do it, when Abby casts a spell of her own to find out how to break Snoozing Beauty's spell. Abby's spell causes the magic tablet to reveal the cure: Prince Billy must write his name on the tablet. However, Prince Billy is unable to do such a feat, so Elmo and Abby take him to the community center to help.|
|SCENE 1 cont'd||Prince Billy practices writing his name on a marker board. He's very proud of himself once he's accomplished it, until the others point out he's written "Dilly" instead. They remind him of what a letter B looks like and how he can remember it, but he manages to make the same mistake again. Abby magically provides some dotted lines for the prince to follow in the shape of a B, giving him the confidence he needs to try again.|
|SCENE 1 cont'd||Prince Billy takes the magic tablet and successfully writes his name with no mistakes. Snoozing Beauty wakes up and Billy invites her to "live happily ever after and stuff."
