Picture Segment Description
COLD OPEN Oscar sets up today's theme of toys while playing fetch with Fluffy.

SCENE 1 Alan welcomes the viewer to a beautiful day, where Big Bird and Julia are having an outdoor painting party. Nearby, Elmo, Abby, and Rudy are playing superheroes with their special toys. Rudy eagerly watches a dump truck at work down the block, the noise of which bothers Julia. Alan explains how Julia's autism makes her sensitive to very loud sounds, so Rudy loudly yells at the truck to be quieter. Alan helps Julia calm down afterwards, which is helped by her special toy, Fluffster.

SCENE 1 cont'd Elmo declares it's Baby David's turn to save somebody for their game. Rudy thinks Fluffster might be the perfect choice and takes him from the table, putting Julia in a panic. Rudy returns Fluffster, but doesn't understand what he did wrong; he was playing with him as a toy as intended and Julia wasn't using him. Alan explains why Fluffster is so special to Julia, not unlike how everyone else's toys are special to them.

SCENE 1 cont'd Everyone sings a song about having their special toys. Rudy thinks of how they include Fluffster properly into their game - he'll use "Super Blankey" to protect him from the other toys. Big Bird proposes they all have a toy dance party together, and Rudy makes sure Alan keeps the music quiet so as to not bother Julia.
