COLD OPEN | As Elmo sets up today's theme of circuses, the Two-Headed Monster argues over who gets to be the clown. Elmo tells them they can both be a clown. |

SCENE 1 | Elmo and Charlie greet the viewer and say that today, there's going to be a circus right on Sesame Street. As the audience (including Herry Monster) congregates, ringmaster Big Bird welcomes them all with a song. |

SCENE 1 cont'd | Big Bird then introduces Grover as the Amazing and Cute Noseini, who balances a spinning plate on his nose. In the sidelines, Big Bird invites Elmo to take part in the fun with an act of his own. Elmo wants to participate, but feels he needs an amazing act. He asks Chris to help brainstorm, when Elmo notices a nearby bike ramp he can implement. |

SCENE 1 cont'd | Elmo and Chris check out the ramp and Elmo deems it useful. He first thinks of simply walking across it, which wouldn't make for an exciting circus act. Chris recalls when he went to the circus as a lad and saw stunt performer Fearless Feevil riding her motorcycle across a ramp. Elmo is inspired to use his tricycle in the act. |

SCENE 1 cont'd | Back at the circus, Big Bird introduces Charlie, who does assorted hula hoop tricks. Meanwhile, Elmo practices going over the ramp on his tricycle. Though it's a sight to see, he catches some of Charlie's act and feels his act still isn't amazing enough. Big Bird tells Elmo it's time for his performance, but Elmo still isn't confident enough in his act. As they all think, Charlie proposes they use her hoop in Elmo's act. |

SCENE 1 cont'd | The time has come for Elmo to go on. After an introduction from Big Bird, Elmo rides his "tricked-out tricycle" over the ramp, then through Charlie's hoop (made to resemble a ring of fire). Elmo thanks his friends for helping and Big Bird declares the end of the circus show. |

Insert | I Wonder, What If, Let's Try Elmo sees Layla and Bryan playing pretend circus. To recreate a tightrope act, they draw a line in chalk on the sidewalk and walk across it. |
