SCENE 1 | Elmo, Rudy, and Charlie are at the stoop, reminiscing about their recent trip to the bowling alley (shown via thought balloons). Rudy recalls knocking down a pin (as opposed to pins), and that he sometimes lets go of the ball too early, too late, or not at all. He wishes that the bowling alley were closer so he could practice more. Elmo then wonders if there is a way to bowl on Sesame Street... |

SCENE 1 (cont'd) | The gang walks over to the yard and they ponder what everyday items they could use to create their own bowling alley. They decide to use pool noodles as lanes, a foam ball as the bowling ball, and empty bottles as pins. They then sing a song as they begin building. Elmo and Rudy comment on how hard it was to set up the pins, and an octopus (Martin P. Robinson) comes along to help. They continue the song and Rudy knocks down a pin. |

SCENE 1 (cont'd) | Elmo is happy with the alley, but wishes they had another team to play against. Immediately, they're joined by a child bowling team called The T-Rexes (whom Elmo says are "very good"). Rudy and the others claim not to be nervous, but he secretly worries about making a mistake. Elmo and Charlie reassure Rudy that he'll do well and tell him he just needs to focus on the pins, take a deep breath, and let go of the ball. The Count shows up and volunteers to be the scorekeeper, and the game begins. |

SCENE 1 (cont'd) | After a slow-mo montage of the teams knocking down pins, the T-Rexes are winning 29-13. It's Elmo's turn, and he gets three more points for his team. The T-Rexes are skeptical that they'll be beaten, but in another slo-mo montage, they miss their next few turns. The score is now 29-20, and the last bowler is Rudy. He remembers the strategy Elmo and Charlie taught him and rolls his ball... |
