SCENE 1 | Elmo and Abby take a look at Zoe's terrarium, confused by its purpose. Then when Elmo learns it's a home, he's still confused, wondering how Zoe is going to live in a small tank. Zoe laughs, explaining the habitat is not for her but rather for her future leopard gecko. Alan then arrives to explain it's time to pick up Zoe's gecko, which stresses her out, having not completed her habitat. Elmo and Abby offer to take care of it while she's gone but realize they are clueless of gecko habitats by the time Zoe leaves. |

SCENE 1 cont'd | Grover swoops into scene, proclaiming to know exactly what geckos need to survive and bringing in an igloo, but when Chris comes in, he explains geckos don't actually live in cold climates, but he is unsure of the exact habitat one would live in. He looks it up on his iPad, which tells them all sorts of information about leopard geckos: they live in deserts and grasslands, rest on rocks and climb on trees. The two young 'uns then collect a rock and a branch for those purposes. |

SCENE 1 cont'd | Alan and Zoe come back with the leopard gecko, Gary. Zoe is excited to bring Gary into his new home, but Chris points out a very important piece is still missing. Gary does not have a place to hide, which is crucial for geckos to keep cool. Elmo then points out that he likes to hide under his blanket during hide-and-seek, which gives Abby the idea to create a gecko-sized blanket. Alan decides on a napkin, but Gary is uninterested. Elmo then suggests a box, but Chris doesn't have one small enough. They finally notice a cocoa container, which has a perfect opening and is the right size. It's perfect! Now all they need to do is get some drinking water and mist the tank, which Zoe does gladly. |
