SCENE 1 | Elmo and Rosita welcome the viewer to Sesame Street, only they're not on Sesame Street, but rather on a farm. The two sing about how this location differs from their home ("Welcome to the Farm"). |

SCENE 1 cont'd | When they're done singing, they meet up with Farmer Todd, who offers to take them on a tour. Their first stop is to take a look at the chickens. Todd shows them the birds and mentions a chicken tractor, which leads Elmo to believe that the chickens themselves drive a tractor. |

SCENE 1 cont'd | Meanwhile, Bert and Ernie take a look at the place. Bert is unimpressed, wanting to go home, but in song, Ernie assures Bert he will love it. After the musical number, Bert is still not loving the unfamiliar environment. Ernie spots a tractor... |

SCENE 1 cont'd | Back with Elmo and Rosita, Farmer Todd introduces the goats to the monsters. He teaches them that both sexes of goats have horns and that you can actually drink the milk from goats. |

SCENE 1 cont'd | Ernie shows Bert the tractor he found. Bert starts to sarcastically call it attractive, but he ends up creating a pun: "a-tractor-ive." The two laugh about it when Ernie tells Bert all about how tractors are used. Ernie then has the idea for them to pretend they're driving a tractor. Bert doesn't want to, but he starts to hear engine sounds then actually ends up moving as if he were really riding a tractor. |

SCENE 1 cont'd | Farmer Todd shows Elmo and Rosita the cows. The two get excited to play with the cows, but Todd explains to them that cows do not like to be close to people, and that it's important to respect the animals. Elmo thinks the cows are chewing bubble gum, but Todd corrects him, saying that they're actually chewing their food to make it easier to eat, and that they can chew for up to eight hours. Todd then decides to showcase the orchard... |

SCENE 1 cont'd | Bert, anxious, asks Ernie which way is the bus. Ernie is unsure and asks a goat, but when Bert reminds him he doesn't speak goat, Ernie tells the goat "baa baa," meaning "never mind" in goat. The goat then starts rubbing its face onto Bert, which leads Bert to believe the goat really likes him and that he's made a new friend. Bert, now enthusiastic, sings a reprise of Ernie's song. In the middle of the tune, Ernie tells Bert that the bus left without them a minute ago. Bert at first doesn't seem to care, but goes running to the bus after they're done singing. |
